Description
Götterstein Carvings
2.2 Meter tall carved Menhir in woods south of E77 between Eggenstedt and Seehausen in Sachsen-Anhalt.
The carvings consist of 2 diagonal parallel lines and one circle. Lower down, there are further signs, which can not be identified. This is easily one of the prettiest menhirs in Northern Germany.

There seem to be three parallel lines. If it was elsewhere, I would suggest that the designs look like a henge and a cursus. The diagonal design also looks like an Iron Age sword, but what do I know? All rock art is totally baffling to me.
