The only sign of Black Howe round barrow was this mound along the hedge line at the grid reference number. The farmer had blocked the entrance to the field with harvesting equipment so we could only get a view from the layby, holding the camera high and pointing it towards the barrow. Great views of the vale of Pickering below.
