Description
The Matronenheiligtum Bonn was an ancient temple in Bonn (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). It was a predecessor building of today`s Bonner Münster. Excavations beneath the church lead to the discovery of several votive stones dedicated to the Gallo-Roman Matronae Aufaniae, which are Romanized versions of Gallo/Germanic mother deities.
