Wow, that's quite a spectacular view. (On a [much] smaller scale, one could imagine the site of the 'original Stonehenge' of bluestones in the Preseli Mountains being somewhere like this. In a recent report, it's believed to have existed prior to the transportation of the stones to Wiltshire, possibly built between the two quarry sites where Mike Parker Pearson has found strong evidence of their origin.)
