Description
Gollenstein Standing Stone
At 6.6m (21,5ft) the tallest menhir in Central Europe. The 4,000 year old monolith was destroyed by the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War. Since its repair in 1951 it is again a landmark of the town of Blieskastel in the State of Saarland, Germany.
