Kunci Hillfort

Kunci is a Bronze age hillfort near Labin in Irtria. The area was settled by Liburnian Illyrians, whi were unique in being semi-matriarchal and having only female godesses.

The hillfort consists of an approximately 2 meter thick wall of loose stone in a 200 meter diameter semi-circular shape  in front of a sheer cliff. One entrance has been identified and an other more recent

Kunci Hillfort

Kunci is a Bronze age hillfort near Labin in Irtria. The area was settled by Liburnian Illyrians, whi were unique in being semi-matriarchal and having only female godesses.

The hillfort consists of an approximately 2 meter thick wall of loose stone in a 200 meter diameter semi-circular shape in front of a sheer cliff. One entrance has been identified and an other more recent one has been made by farmers and teenagers, who race old Serbian made Fiats around the inside perimeter.

There is an smaller outer line of defense 20 meters further out.
