Description
Kelten Museum.
In Hochdorf, near Stuttgart. This museum features finds from the nearby 600 BCE untouched tumulus including Celtic chiftain's body, War Chariot, tools, drinking vessels and bronze couch.
Skeleton of Celtic Chiftain from 600 BCE. He was found to have died in his early 40s from natural causes, but was otherwise healthy.
His lavish grave goods would have made him the equivalent of a millionaire by iron age standards.
There is a nearby unexcavated fort from the same time period.
