Description
Maklavun Tholos
Maklavun is a unique but threatened bronze Age site near Porec, Croatia. It resembles a cairn with a large intenal chamber. There is a grave on the inside as well as a dromos leading to it, as seen here. The local archeologists believe it once had a complex corbeled roof, perhaps like Newgrange.
