Walking up the hill on Sizergh Fell, with Middle Plantation to our right and the circular, tree-covered mound to our left, the larger of the two cairns stood out clearly on the horizon. The centre of the cairn (as shown in alphasmam's photo previously submitted) was full of small stones.
