February 2005. Looking south-east from the trig point on top of Beacon Hill. In the foreground is the most obvious of the many circular hut hollows within the ramparts. Aerial photographs reveal hut circles dotted about within the camp, suggesting that it was occupied permanently by an Iron Age tribe.
