February 2005. Composite image of the entrance to Beacon Hill camp, looking out along the chalk ridge (private grazing land). The ends of both banks and the ditch are in-turned, and there are also slight outworks. The present-day visitor access is to the opposite corner of the hillfort, up a ridiculously steep slope from the car park.
