We made an impromptu visit to Grasmere yesterday (1st June) and as the café we were in had WiFi, I checked the Portal, and found the images taken by DrewParsons of the Cup-Marked Rocks at the entrance to the car park we were parked in. We made an impromptu visit to Grasmere yesterday (1st June) and as the café we were in had WiFi, I checked the Portal, and found the images taken by DrewParsons of the Cup-Marked Rocks at the entrance to the car park we were parked in. Thank you - this was an unexpected treat. This image shows the context of the rock outcrop, overlooking the river Rothay and (I think) Rydal Fell in the background. A beautiful spot.
