As referred to by Postman this is the largest of the barrows on the Weaver Hills. Approx 12m diameter and about 2m high. Centre has been dug out (Bateman?). The tree has been supplemented by a stone memorial bench. Although damaged, the barrow is in a good state of preservation on largely sheep-rearing farmland.
