Description
The not very impressive remains of St Owen's Well at Much Wenlock. At least there is a record of it here, though.
A small ledge under the plaque holds a tub of violas; the only beautifying object left here on the spot.

The Well used to (in the early 1970's) be a bit more exposed but even then it was used as a litter receptical! Apparently one of a number of such healing wells in Much Wenlock.
