This picture is of Bury Ditches, Shropshire taken on October 25th 2004. The photograph is of the sunset taken from inside the second dich facing east towards Wales. It was a great couple of hours up there with not a soul in sight, watching the sun set and the full moon rise at the same time.

At the same time on the same day I was in North Wales hoping for a similar view. Fat chance! So instead of somewhere high, I ended up somewhere low, but still special - at Gwytherin. I must get back to Bury Ditches - the hills seem to go on forever into the distance.

Surely it's a signal from Orange! Er - Darrell, were you facing west there?

Beautiful photo Darrell. It almost has a CGI feel about it. I was hoping for similar photo of Bury Walls the other day, but God didn't want to play.
