Description
The way out from the many area with likely recesses - luckily it was so dark you couldn't really see the bats flying in to check you out!
I have lightened the bat a bit more than the rest of the photo here so that it shows up better - the gap below it is the way out.
It did occur to me that the presence of these bats might have been grounds enough for the access to be restricted - I rather suspect they are a protected species, but I missed most of last week's Countryfile so can't be absolutely sure!
