Grand Village of Natchez Indians

The 1732 depiction is believed to be accurate for this site. Some of the temples and chief's houses were 2 stories, quite large. Cahokia had a structure of 3,000 sq ft with the sides 100 x nearly 30 ft. The walls were supposedly made of vertical logs nearly 50 ft high. That would have been the largest.
