Description
Temple of Wadi el-Seboua Sphinx.
8 fine Sphinxes guarded this temple, this being the best preserved one. Ramses II decorated the plinth of the southern sphinxes with the images of African prisoners and the northern Sphinxes with Asiatic prisoners in order to commemorated his military exploits.
