Description
Moss Farm Road (or Machrie Moor 10) circle on Arran. This stone lies on the North arc of the circle. Its inner face is rounded, but the outer face, looking towards NE, is an intriguing wavy pattern.

Thinking of JackME's 'bird' stones [see his latest article on Stone Circles and how they work] .... I wonder if this one is supposed to represent a bird? (Head and beak on one side in centre, and wings either side?) Assuming it IS natural, it is one of the more unusually-shaped ones I've come across.
