Butterdon Stone Circle, Butterdon Hill, Dartmoor, Devon SX656588 The fantastic Butterdon Hill stone row starts at a cairn situated just downslope to the north of the largest cairn on the hilltop. The cairn is the usual mass of stones with a hollowed out middle, about 8 metres in diameter. Outside the remains of the cairn lies a ring of large fallen slabs, which once must have made an impressive ring. This view is to the south, and includes the hilltop cairn.
