The main South Zeal Standing stone is found in the little room second on the left as you enter the pub, I agree it's a standing stone but they believe it was always to be found at this spot, but i think the monks bought it down from the moor (Where you can find other Standing Stones like this one, but there's none in the lower lands where this stone is now), I believe it was once part of the Cosdo

Description
The main South Zeal Standing stone is found in the little room second on the left as you enter the pub, I agree it's a standing stone but they believe it was always to be found at this spot, but i think the monks bought it down from the moor (Where you can find other Standing Stones like this one, but there's none in the lower lands where this stone is now), I believe it was once part of the Cosdon stone row complex, In a very similar manner to the biggest Standing Stone at Drizzlecombe and it's associated Rows, The two stones (Drizzlecombe and South Zeal) are also very similar
