Re: Coxall Knoll by Anonymous on Thursday, 02 March 2006

Coxall Knoll is a quite unique hillfort and well worth the walk (A slight diversion off the public footpath) with massive ramparts. The fort has a very friendly feel about it! At the highest point of the fort Titterstone Clee can just been seen through the trees. Despite the dense foiliage fine views can also be seen of Burrow Hillfort, Caer Caradog (Church Stretton) and The Lawley. Brown Clee including Abdon Burf and Clee Burf Hillfort can also be seen. Norton Camp also appears to be visible. Strangely Coxall Knolls neighbour Caer Caradog (Clun) isn't intervisible. Well worth the trip.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
