Lunistice alignment

New release from Nick Jonah Davis with MMM

Drones and Tones Inspired by Stones
MMM is a collaboration between Gayle Brogan, Nick Jonah Davis and Elizabeth Still. In 2025, the trio travelled far north to Black Bay Studio, on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, to create a sonic response to the Lunar Standstill at the exceptional megalithic site known as the Calanais Stones.

‘We made some music rooted in drones and tones to mark the rare moment of lunar standstill at the exceptional megalithic site known as the Calanais Stones on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. This involved some heavy travel and a few days recording at Black Bay Studio, not far from the stones. We'll be out playing live at Listen to the Voice of Fire and Supersonic festivals in coming weeks, but for now: we have a first piece of music, Lunistice Alignments up on Bandcamp - head over for a listen. Alright, take care out there.’

Only £1.50 for track
