Visited this morning. It's a bit special - this site. A circular cain - not a stone circle. As the literature states, 'a near perfect circle'. I think I counted 48 stones. I perched on one stand out stone drinking my coffee on a perfect morning contemplating that I was sitting on a stone that dated back to the Bronze Age - in the middle of which, was once buried a 'special' person in the community. The surrounding mountains are spectacular. I love it when the sun hits and you see the different colours and textures in each one.
To think this isn't really that far from where I live...part of me didn't want to leave...just stay there with the curious sheep surrounding me! I shall be back.
As always, I thanked the stones and went on my way.
