Interesting, I'm here on Sunset at Bealtaine and things seem to line up a lot here. The stone on the top of the tomb faces right towards the sunset on this day, and there is a massive stone in the next field that lines up almost exactly between the tomb and the sunset. The sun sets on a big hill. Maybe people in the past would have lit a fire on that hill on this evening, as they did on many mountains in Ireland. Would be an amazing thing to watch that from here. Could be part of the reason for building this ring. Or maybe coincidence, I don't know.
