I grow up 2/3 House from this mound in the 60’s. My Mom went to the farmer and asked permission to just walk up to it. She was amazed by it. I truly think in a past life she was a American Indian. The small corn field next door to our house was filled with arrow heads and she even found a stone hammer head(Tom a hawk head). She never dug for them they were just laying on top once the farmer toiled the field. There is/was a old dumb site back in the woods on the side of an embankment by the river where she found all kind of things. It was interesting and the most amazing part of my childhood living in a area where there was so much History.
