Re: Auvernier Schalenstein by Megalithic89 on Thursday, 10 August 2023

Most probably this stone is meant, the cup-marked stone found at Lignières:
Quote:
It was first placed in the English Garden in 1880, then in the Garden of the Musée d'Histoire.
It was deposited in Neuchâtel until May 2004 behind the building of the Laboratory of Cantonal Archaeology (Colombier, Saunerie, 556.820|202.250|432) next to the reconstructed ‘Dolmen of Auvernier’.
Unquote.
Source of information: Swiss Inventory of Stone Monuments, http://www.ssdi.ch,
Object No. 2013.04 equals Object No. 2523.02.
It is now in the garden of The Laténium Museum, Hauterive NE. A picture is already shown under that site page.
