Link to article on these petroglyphs and a diver who rediscovered them in the last 10 yrs. Sketches of them were made back in the 1800s. But unfortunately they are now underwater and covered by a thick layer of silt due to changes in river level due to dam construction.

The petroglyphs are on an underwater ledge in the West River, close to its confluence with the Connecticut R.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
