It is marked as scheduled monument on Historic England, List Entry Number:
1020275

“ The enclosed farmstead was discovered during aerial reconnaissance, and it was the subject of a detailed archaeological investigation in 1990.”

I have walked the tarmac road next to the site and noted that the public footpath marked on the OS map is not there/not available. As said in the report, little of the historic settlement appears to be visible. I feel it is more interesting to read the archaeological report, and think about the context of Iron Age settlements in the local area.
The nearby Muster Hill was a gathering place in the Civil War, but again can only be viewed from the tarmac road, I was told by the local Gamekeeper.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
