I visited this long barrow 35 years , i remember it well, a very powerful place.
I remember meeting a local there who told me that some years previous work was being done on the road nearby and the night Watchmen refused to stay there overnight after the first night as they heard strange , otherworldly noises all night!
I would like to return there one day.
