Easily reached from the Esplanade car park at Criccieth.
From the entrance to the car park take the footpath that runs behind Dylans takeaway. Follow the path (which runs parallel to the railway line) down as far as the pedestrian crossing over the rail tracks. Cross and follow the path (uphill towards the white house) - as the path bends left.. Caer Dyni is easily visible on the right.
Caer Dyni was smaller than i imagined but on a gloriously sunny day punched well above it's weight!
I've spent less time at far bigger sites!
