the stone at the alleged SO85490240 bears relatively modern inscriptions (difficult to decipher) and an OS Bench Mark that the OS locate at SO 8548 0242. It is on the boundary of Rodborough and Minch Commons. As delineated by the boundary stone on the opposite side of the road bearing what looks like an "M" on the Minch side & "R" on the other.
Stratford Park Museum do not have records of the inscription.
