The Slawendorf in Brandenburg on the Havel fulfills important tasks in our city for years.
1) The Slavic village is a special experience, with an area of more than ten thousand square meters, for young and old. Both in terms of the tourism development of our city, especially in the area of the city center around the historic old town, as well as a recreational destination for visitors and the inhabitants of our city, the Slavic village at the current location is indispensable.
Therefore, there is parallel to the initiative PRO Slawendorf, which fights in a first step already with a signature list action for the preservation and operation of Slawendorfs at the current location and hereby, as it were advertised for attention regarding the issue in the population.
From previous discussions with the people in our city, which has led the initiator of PRO Slawendorf in recent weeks, it can be clearly and unequivocally deduced that a hotel building at the current location of Slawendorfs on broad rejection of the inhabitants as well as visitors our city comes across. The same applies to the demolition of Slawendorfs at the current location and the cessation of operation of Slawendorfs at the current location.
The initiator of PRO Slawendorf spoke personally to about 500 people about the topic and discussed it. The result of these personal conversations can be summarized as follows:
