Ten of the twelve masks are owned by the Steinhardts, wealthy collectors from New York, according to The Times of Israel, and one belonged to Moshe Dayan (his name is inscribed on the inside!). The purchase prices haven't been divulged. Astronomic, one imagines. When the exhibition closes they will no doubt be returned to the Steinhardts and co. Dating method is similarly undisclosed.... just because the region is synonymous with ancient history doesn't automatically mean that every artefact dug up is ancient.
