Paul Callaway: Arrived yesterday. Very impressed. After an overview of Neolithic and early Bronze Age monuments comes The gazetteer. This is like holding the website in your hands, with fascinating articles interspersed within it, covering such topics as dowsing, archaeoacoustics, minilithic Exmoor, moorland enclosure ( a subject important to me as I live in West Penwith), phenomenology of dolmens, etc, etc.. There are also top tens, for those that like lists. The whole book just makes me want to go out and visit many of the monuments I haven't yet seen. Recommended.

Maggie Fae Overett More comprehensive, more sites, more info. Easy to find pages, and more of everything. Burl was good for his day, and this book is the next step. There is nothing else close to this for instant reference.
Miles Newman: Mine arrived today. I'm delighted with it. It's very smart and yet it looks like a working book, and I do intend to work it hard. The photos and info are most definitely adequate for enabling visits to sites, and the accompanying short articles about shadows, acoustics, recumbents, etc., surely enough to fire up more interest. Did I mention that among the 400+ pages two of the photographs are mine? You're right, I probably did.
