Hi,
My first contribution.
I'm in N.Herts so this is local to me and I've been there but I haven't really checked it out from an archaelogical point of view before. I was thinking that this and many other large sites are best seen from the air.
Has anyone flown a drone over it with a view to filming the archaeology? That could include the geographical context, which again is best seen from above. Photos can't really do them justice.
That would be a great project for anyone with a drone (with the relevant permissions of course)...
Cheers
