Research into the finds shows a history of continuous occupation from 2500 BC until the 16-17th century. The archaeologists found skeletons 1.80 to 2m in height. who could be considered giants in comparison to the usual size of people from these times.

Just a couple of points on this 1.8m is not very tall only 5.9ft so hardly gigantic. 2m 6.5 so reasonably tall but not really a giant. The other slightly confusing thing is when we are talking for the size of these giants as the article clearly states above continuous occupation from 2500bc to 16-17th century. There's no doubt that this is an interesting archaeological site without making outlandish claims.
