Premier Inn hotel has been given the go-ahead

The £4m hotel has been supported by the planning committee of Anglesey council

The proposals for an 80-bedroom Premier Inn were lodged by the Conygar Investment Company and the hotel giant in September.

It would be built opposite the existing Road King truck stop at Parc Cybi, on the outskirts of Holyhead, and the development also includes a restaurant and bar, with enough parking spaces for 84 vehicles.

This afternoon councillors on the planning committee gave the hotel the green light.
