Mesolithic scatter near the stone circle, and a range of other monuments and further Mesolithic activity across the Day Brook valley
Three spring sites also originate near the circle, with Coate Circle sitting very near the head of Day Brook, which flows north, into Swindon. Two other springs flow south east and south west from the small hill at Bradbury Wick, c. 1 mile south.
