Steep cliffs give defence to the East. To the West there is a platform, apparently man-made with a short entrance pathway about 2m wide.
Access by parking at SN145350 then follow the track leading to an ill-defined bridleway to Mirianog-granog, where there is what looks like a chambered tomb standing up to 1m high which does not appear on the OS maps. Then make your way across country towards Carnalw. The whole way is rather wet.
