Bob Trubshaw explores the legends and stories associated with standing stones, medieval crosses, holy wells and other unexpected survivals of days gone by which can be discovered in various places in Leicestershire and Rutland.
Illustrated with lots of photos, a few maps and so forth.

Bob Trubshaw has been researching and writing about local medieval carvings for over twenty years. He is the author of numerous books and articles about local history, folklore and archaeology.
