Re: 2017 Stonehenge Summer Solstice Information by Anonymous on Saturday, 17 June 2017

I've been to Stonehenge and Avebury for Solstice and would pick Avebury anytime. Much friendlier crowds and DOG FRIENDLY! The vibe isn't quite as overwhelming as Stonehenge, but it more than makes up for it with friendly people and an open comfortable feeling.

At Avebury, the parking is tricky but we've managed to be in the carpark for the site, they charge £20 for overnight parking, but if you get the spaces it is very convenient.

We don't go every year and are looking for something to do up in Yorkshire this year, not sure we will find anything, and any ideas are welcome!

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
