Notes from my visit in April 2013.

Strangely positioned on the hillside, the lower part of this circle seems almost to consist of an embanked ring rather than an open stone circle. The stones, up to about 3 feet tall, but mostly less than 2 feet, are positioned quite close together, flat sides facing inwards. I counted 25 standers, with several stumps and much more loose stone. The two largest stones are at the uphill edge of the circle, an entrance? It certainly seemed a bit odd to me on this hillside, in some ways more like a huge ring cairn.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
