400 m height difference, 9 km, middle demanding
Not many know, which peaks surround Invisible summit, and because of them it quickly shuns our view. Finally, we find this hidden summit so, that we followed tenths of kilometers long line, that connects some sites with Styria megaliths exactly in the east-west direction. And so we arrived in the hidden parts of the old mountain. And so, we found one more riddle from secret past. Who knows who placed a large mould from broken stones and than buried it with soil exactly on the top of Invisible summit? And who and why put on the top of the mould the upright stone, and aligned it with polar axis? Maybe the same person, which leave unusual engravings in it…
We know many stories like this. And we are delighted, that we can share them, as far as we can. After all, these stories are our common, but our path with them to the community was lonely one, but full of great pleasures. It is true that the knowledge is a great reward, but stone brought us to the point, where simple ways stops. Responsibility in front of all these findings is simply too great. So TUR(M)ISTIKA group become a part of cultural heritage institute Pohorec, what will allow us to do more exact research about Styria megaliths and networking similar institution. It is imperative, that the story goes on. Therefore, if you'll attend our programs, you will definitely support Styria megaliths project.
You can't find anything about Styria megaliths in the official records, and not alot had been written about them. They don't even exist to professionals, and for the majority of those, who know them, they are only unusual work of nature, which stir the imagination of naive people. However, here are some facts, which show the case is not so simple. Forms of megaliths in all sites, as we know, are similar to the extent. So we could say, that are designed according to the same principles, although there are different stone types. However, if this similarity is completely random, then how to explain, that they are placed in a completely identical manner in all known Styria sites? So we are completely sure, that Styria megaliths share the concept of mysterious ancient builders, after which they have been made.
