I would be more interested in the 'how and why' of this topic than the highly assumptive tone of this article.
I'm sure the proffesor in question has perfectly good archaeo - biological and cultural reasons for these assumptions but these have been neglected to be commented on in the review of the findings.
In short, this subject has been portrayed as a 'joke' when it could conceivabley be a highly valid issue.
