Re: Threats to Photographers' Rights? by JimChampion on Sunday, 26 June 2005

Let's hope the neighbourhood watch aren't reading this - to their suspicious minds (spare me the Elvis impersonation) anyone buying a tripod will now be a paedophile trying to cover their tracks.

I have a mini-tripod. Does that mean I'm only slightly bona-fide? And also I have a small camera (Nikon Coolpix: nice gadget, horrible name) - does that make me more or less suspicious than someone with a big (SLR) camera? Does having a big telephoto lens make you most suspicious of all?

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
