Re: Sri Parasurameshwara ancient lingam by Anonymous on Friday, 09 November 2012

If you look at the linga clearly it is an accurate depiction of not just the trinity but also the male reproductive organ in humans(The representation on the linga is stark and telling..Please do have a close look at it in the link mentioned at top of the page: http://www.krishnababug.com/2009/03/gudimallam-papanaidupeta-kaala-hasti.html ..)..

When I visited this temple I remember seeing another linga opposite to the main linga..but it was different..it had a depression on the pedestal where the linga should have been..our guide had told it was the shakthi's representation..

thinking logically..since the depression appeared to be a representation of what ancients called yoni (female reproductive system), it would make sense..

the best part is that these two lingas are supposed to signify the presence of shiva and shakthi (male and female)

So, ASI may be wrong in its interpretation...since the temple is supposed to signify the trinity as well as shiva and shakthi..

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
