Stirling Council’s Archaeologist and Ranger Service in collaboration with the Cowane’s Hospital Trust are running an archaeological training dig on the Dark Age Hillfort at Abbey Craig, upon which the Wallace Monument was built. Please bring stout boots, appropriate clothing, a packed lunch and a spade and a sieve.
