Jenny Murray, Curator of Collections, presents her findings on her recent research into the possibility of some Iron Age and Viking agricultural tools being buried as ritual offerings. Using typology and Radiocarbon dating, she assessed these objects to see if they were comparable to similar finds in Scandinavia and Scotland.
