There is something funny going on here! According to RCAHMS most of the site was removed in the early 1800's leaving only two standing stones. Yet what is now visible is two stone rows. From the RCAHMS information the higher up pair is the original with the lower ones presumably a farmer's folly!

The original pair stand over six feet high and may be the remnants of a recumbent stone circle.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
